wireframe render in blender cycles

Hello blender artists !
we have today a great tutorial on how to make a wireframe render for your object in blender , using cycles and freestyle.
this is the finished result :

so lets start !

1- make sure you are using cycles engine , go to render tab , then check freestyle feature.

2- now go to renderlayer tab , go to “freestyle line set” and make sure “edge mark” is checked , then select your object and go to edit mode selecting all edges , click on “mesh” then choose “edges” and finally “mark freestyle edge” , now freestyle know which edges will use to generate the drawing.

now , you should end up with this :

3- to edit the default color “black” , go “renderlayers” tab , then “freestyle line style” .
now you can edit color , stroke , alpha , thickness… depends on the look you want to achieve.

now hit the render button and enjoy !
