Update : this is not working with the newest blender release 2.78 !
update 2 :
today i’m gonna show you how you can install corona for blender without any problems,
there is tutorial here https://corona-renderer.com/wiki/blender2corona/installation but still not good for the artist who still new to external renderers .
now i’m gonna make it easy for you , with exact steps to make sure you installed corona correctly so you can start playing with it now !
1- download this python exporter and place it inside your blender addon script folder :
2-download the latest version of corona standalone here and extract it (and remember where !) :
3- now fire blender and go to Files > user preferences > add-ons :
write Corona and activate the addon , then choose corona path and select the folder where you’ve extracted corona standalone
4-select corona as render engine and we are almost there ! (wut still more ?! )
5- now before clicking the render button , you need to choose export path ( where corona will export meshes and files ) :
its doesnt matter where you will export but to keep everything clean ,create a new folder inside corona standalone and name it “corona meshes”.
Now you are ready to use corona render ! feel free to leave a comment if you have questions !
here is a test that i made a while ago using this render (10mn):
